Dr. Ana J. Amaya DDS

Dr. Ana J. Amaya has been providing exceptional periodontal and implant care for over 15 years! She obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 1997 and earned her Masters of Science degree in Biology as well as a Certificate in Periodontics and Implantology from UCSF in 2001.

Dr. Amaya is Board Certified by the American Board of Periodontics. She enjoys sharing her knowledge with her peers and patients, and has published many articles. She also lectures internationally, and as a Spanish speaker, has had the pleasure of lecturing in Latin America. She serves as Assistant Clinical Professor in the post-graduate periodontics program at the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry. She is also a clinical and research mentor for periodontal residents.

To stay up-to-date on the latest periodontal and implantology techniques and innovations, Dr. Amaya maintains memberships in the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), the Marin County Dental Society (MCDS), the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), the California Society of Periodontists (CSP), the International Team for Implantology (ITI), and the Academy of Osseointegration (AO).
